Managing Groups

Learn how to add, edit and delete group.

Groups are another way of categorizing devices other than Hierarchies. The devices belonging to a group can also be assigned to a Hierarchy. This feature allows you to perform operations on specific groups of devices.

NOTE:
The Group feature only creates a group. Assignment of devices to groups must be done from the Device Search tab or at the Device Profile for multiple devices and single device respectively.

Go to Administration > Estate Administration > Group Establishment.

You can perform multiple functions on the Group. You can Add Group, Edit Group and Delete Group(s).

Adding Group

You can create group.

To create group:

  1. ClickAdd user.
    2. Enter the Group name.
    3. Enter the description (if required).
    4. Click Add.

Editing Group

You can also edit a group.

To edit group:

  1. Select a group to edit.
  2. Click Edit user to edit a group. Rename a group and click Save.

Deleting Group

You can delete a group.

To delete a group:

  1. Select a group to delete.
  2. Click Delete role to delete a group.
