Columns

Description

Alert Name

Indicates the alert name.

Description

Indicates the alert description.

Severity

Indicates the alert severity. The alert severity can be configured to Low, Medium and High. The only High alert will spawn a Visual Notification in the VHQ portal. The severity of the alert is based on the requirement for notification. You can select the appropriate priority and configure these alerts. An email notification is sent, as when the alert is triggered.

The low alert email notification is sent only once in a day, whereas the Medium and High alert e-mail notification can be sent more than once in a day as configured in Schedulers and Timers option in System Configuration.

Status

Indicates enabling or disabling the alert status.

Threshold (Hours)

Indicates the alert threshold duration in hours.

Automatic Close

Indicates enabling and disabling of alerts for automatic closure. This feature automatically closes the existing open alerts before generating any new alert of the same type.

Always Generate New Alert

Indicates a new alert will be generated regardless of any existing alert in open state. This option by default is set to false for the Device Tampered alert. However, this option is available for all the alerts. • If configured to True, VHQ server generates a new alert irrespective of any existing open alert for the device. • If configured to False, VHQ server will not generate a new alert.
