Adding New Node

You can add a new node in the hierarchy.

To add new mode:

1. Click to add a new node in the VHQ hierarchy. You must select the parent node under which you want to create the new node.
   2. Enter the details in Hierarchy Value Properties and click Add.

Deleting a Node

You can delete a node in the hierarchy.

To delete a node:

1. Clickto delete a node in the VHQ hierarchy using the VHQ GUI.

NOTE:
You first need to move (or delete) all devices that are located under this node (or its descendent nodes) in the hierarchy to some other part of the VHQ hierarchy. All child hierarchies under the deleted hierarchy will also be deleted.

2. Select the hierarchy and click to delete a node.

WARNING:
Please be aware that users cannot delete Device assigned Hierarchy. A message, “Delete not completed. This hierarchy either has devices assigned to it or has child Hierarchy and therefore cannot be deleted.” is displayed.
